Vedic Mathematics is an ancient system of Indian Mathematics which was rediscovered between 1911 and 1918 by Shankaracharya Bharti Krishna Tirthaji. The term “Vedic” is derived from a Sanskrit word “Veda” that means knowledge. Vedic Maths is a collection of Sutras (formulae) to solve math problems in a faster and easier way. By learning the sutras of Vedic mathematics anyone would be able to solve problems 10 times faster.
These Vedic math tricks help even candidates who are participating in JEE, CBSE/ICE board exams and other competitive exams.
The sutras are easy to learn and to apply. The simplicity of Vedic Mathematics drives away the fear of Math/ Math-Phobia from children. In fact, it makes math more enjoyable and fun. Practising Vedic Mathematics sharpens your mind, increases resilience, patience and mental agility.
Problem-solving skill is one of the most important skills in the world. Humans are usually scared of problems. In a world where everyone is scared of problems, the one who solves the problems becomes a leader. A person to look up to and to follow. The simplicity and ease of Vedic Math will lift the burden of hustle(or hard work) and introduce smart work to the young and the old.
There is always an easier way around things. Vedic Mathematics is proof of that. You would have not imagined square roots and fractions to be this simple. Increases the speed without compromising on accuracy. A person with problem-solving skills is expected to see the solutions and not to be intimidated by the problem itself.
When you become a mental calculator, it takes away your barriers to success. Imagine you are running in a hurdle race with no hurdles. That’s how you will be once you master the Vedic Mathematics. Though you can flaunt your math skills to your peers, that is not the point. This can improve your efficiency to a whole new level.
The best part is you need not restrict yourself with one “correct” method. You can try your hand at improving it. You can only know its magnificence by practising it diligently. In the Vedic system difficult problems with huge numbers can often be solved immediately. These methods are striking and far more systematic than the modern system of Mathematics.
You do not need fancy equipment or computer to perform calculations. This system of math shows us the efficiency of the human brain itself. Try it out for yourself. You’ll never need a calculator anymore.
Let’s take an example: 98 x 97 = ? We should be able to do this in seconds. Join my class to know how. Get ready to enjoy maths!+
